Vibrafonisten Red Norvo var en veteran i musikbranschen när han 1950 slog sig ihop med två modernister, gitarristen Tal Farlow och basisten Charles Mingus, i en trio som under några år blev en stor attraktion på USA:s jazzklubbar. Den ovanliga sättningen utnyttjades i intrikata arrangemang och samspelet blev närmast telepatiskt. All diskografisk information i konvolutet.
