Concerto for Herd
Beskrivning:När Woody Herman and The Thundering Herd, en av storbandsveteranens ständigt föryngrade och glödheta ensembler, framträdde på Montereys jazzfestival 1967 hade han anlitat en av sina hovarrangörer Bill Holman att skriva en svit kallad "Concerto for Herd". Den fyller ena sidan av LP:n och den andra har också fräscha tillskott till Woodys repertoar.
I bandet återfinns solister som Neil Friel, Luis Gasca tp, Carl Fontana tb, Joe Romano, Sal Nistico ts, Cecil Payne bars och Albert Daily p.
