Beskrivning:Sångaren och gitarristen Brownie McGhee var en framstående representant för den s k Piedmont-stilen inom bluesen. På femtiotalet blev han ett världsnamn tillsammans med munspelaren Sonny Terry. Men här hörs han i några av sina första inspelningar, med bl a Bull City Red på washboard; Sonny Terry dyker också upp på några spår.
