Beskrivning:Ray Brown är en av jazzens genom tiderna främsta basister, som spelat med alla de stora: Oscar Peterson, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington och så vidare. På äldre dar ledde han en trio, som här består av Venny Green p och Gregory Hutchinson dr + vår svenske världsgitarrist Ulf Wakenius. Donald Elfman har skrivit en informativ text i häftet.
"The Ray Brown Trio in 1995 featured pianist Benny Green and drummer Gregory Hutchinson along with the leader/bassist. In the tradition of the mid-'50s Oscar Peterson Trio, the group featured tight arrangements with concise but consistently brilliant solos.
