Beskrivning:I den lilla staden Muscle Shoals i nordvästra Alabama låg den legendariska inspelningsstudion Fame Studio. Från mitten av 1960-talet spelades mängder av klassiska soul- och countrylåtar in, understödda av den grupp studiomusiker som gav musiken ett speciellt sound. Wilson Pickett, Clarence Carter, Arthur Conley, Otis Redding, Irma Thomas, Etta James och Aretha Franklin var bara några av de som åkte till Muscle Shoals för att få det rätta soundet på sina låtar.
I det här albumet har en senare tids artister tagit upp låtar som spelades in i Muscle Shoals och gjort sina personliga tolkningar. Bland de som medverkar märks Keb´ Mo´, Willie Nelson, Kid Rock, Alison Krauss, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Alan Jackson, Chord Overstreet, Delbert McClinton m fl. I medföljande häfte finns en informativ text av Alec Palao samt diskografisk information.
